This pixie hat is a blue version of Flutterby. Instead of having three dimensional butterflies it has tiny little embroidered snowflakes in the form of white french knots. A lovely soft border is created using Plymouth Angora in Navy but if you want to make an anti allergy version knit it in a 4ply cotton instead and leave out the Angora. It frames the face beautifully and is not as heavy as a beanie and the ties make sure it stays put.
