Snuffles the Hedgehog

Did you know that the collective noun for a group of hedgehogs is an array? Nope I didn't either, looked it up on google.

This is Snuffles the sweet hedgehog, getting ready for hibernation, I hope he's had plenty to eat to get him through, looking at his tummy I think maybe he has.

Snuffles stands just 9 inches/23cms (approximately) tall. He is knitted flat and assembled. He has embroidered eyes; full directions are included to create these. You could of course use toy safety eyes, I would advise 8 or 10mm.

If you wish to use double knit please lower your needle size to 3mm/3US. Your character will be a little smaller. 

I have included two options to work the body colour changes, one is to work it in three parts and seam, the other is colour blocking/intarsia.
