This cowl is luxuriously wide and made to drip and drape over your shoulders. As I was charting the lace motif, it reminded me of airplanes and how I love to fly on vacation. In a sport weight yarn, it is a nice thing to have or knit when that little overhead airline A/C vent is blowing at you.
Pattern Details:Yarn: Sport weight, 650 yards. Sample shown in Knit Picks Galileo (50% Merino; 50% Bamboo; 131 yards/50g), 5 skeins Luminous. This is suggested, but a nice sport weight that has a lovely drape will do fine. Gauge: 28 stitches = 4” (10 cm) in pattern stitch Needles: US Size 3 (3.25mm) Notions: Tapestry needle Sample Blocked Finished Size: 45" (114.5 cm) long, 14.5" (37 cm) wide.
