This is a pattern for a teapot cosy. This cosy has 2 layers each worked separately from a provisional cast-on and using the stranded knitting technique. One layer has farm animal patterning and the other a simpler small motif patterning of your choosing. In addition, you may add Duplicate Stitch and/or embroidered details (as seen on samples).
