I may be somewhat biased, but for me, these easy socks are for me the perfect combination of easy knitting and a fun detail that is easy to memorize and work. These are ideal for self striping yarns that can obscure more complicated stitch patterns. They are knit toe up.

Length is easily customizable and it is simple for the experienced knitter to customize width with additional stitches between the pattern stitches.
