When I was given the opportunity to design with some of this crazy Knit Collage yarn, I jumped at the chance! The result is a hat that’s half homespun-coziness and half 60’s B-movie hot-lady-alien. In short: awesome. Definitely a head-turner and not for the faint of heart - but also extremely warm and practical! Experiment with different configurations of pompoms or dangly-ties, if you’re feeling adventurous. Tip: if working with Shooting Star, you can push all the glitzy bits to the outside after you’ve bound off, for maximum sparklization.
The sample was knit in Knit Collage Rolling Stone. A substitute yarn is shown below.
