Introducing our sparkly Unicorn! The newest addition to our mythical creatures collection is made from glittery white double knitting yarn and is the perfect size for children to cuddle. Knitted flat on 3mm straight knitting needles (so no knitting in the round needed) you’ll need to know how to knit, purl and increase and decrease to make this soft guy and his Springtime flower crown.
Use any white and pink double knitting yarn you have in your stash to make the unicorn; we used half a ball of King Cole Glitz Dk in Diamond White (483) for the main colour, and just under half a ball of Wendy Peter Pan Dk in Blossom (PD05) for the pink (so you can make two unicorns if you have a ball of each yarn)
You'll also need very small amounts of blue, yellow and grey Dk yarn for the horn, bow tie and flowers. Unicorn measures 25cm tall when seated.
