This pattern uses Spike Stitches. Stitch height creates a color pattern with both interesting design and texture in a wavy effect.
Spike Stitches aren’t too difficult as long as you know where to put your hook. The skill level is listed as Intermediate because you will probably want to be comfortable with basic stitches and have some experience with creating crochet fabric before undertaking this project. Detailed instructions and photos are provided and I am always happy to answer any questions.
