I designed this cute squid pattern based on a request from my 9 year old son who loves aquatic animals. It's simple to make up and is ideal for a small project or even a beginner.
Size When made up, the squid is 13cm high and 5cm wide. The long tentacles are 12cm long.
Stitches needed (UK terms) ch = chain BLdc = double crochet through back loop only dc = double crochet dtr = double treble crochet FLdc = double crochet through front loop only FLdc2tog = double crochet 2 together through front loop only htr = half treble crochet inc = increase by dc into the same stitch again but this time through both loops mc = magic circle sl st = slip stitch
