So I thought it was time for a stag beanie. The fact that my name means "hunter" in English may be also to blame for it ;-) As well as a special Gilmore girls episode ;-)
If you use a silver color instead of the light brown it will become more christmas-like.
It has my typical dotted corrugated (two color ribbing) and three bands of stags and nice little border pattern.
It is a bit bigger than my normal beanies because it has some more stitches. For bigger sizes you can go up one or two needle sizes and/or use 5-ply yarn (like Buttinette Madeleine Merino or similar).
The beanie in the photograph is knit from 4-ply sock yarn of different manufacturers. I put in some brand names but you do not have to use these. You can use any 4-ply sock yarn you have in your stash. You will need about 30 g of each of the three colors.
