This knitting pattern has been tested, tech edited, written in metric and imperial units and color coded for ease.
This cropped sweater is ideal as designed for spring and summer weather, or if you prefer, you can easily knit it in a classic length for cooler nights looking up at the skies. An inspired pattern that is great for novice knitters, the Star Gazer is always a top seller and gets great reviews. As a big fan of textured knitwear, I chose stockinette and seed stitch for the main design, giving it a uniquely beautiful look.
The Star Gazer Cropped Sweater is an easy level knitting pattern written for 6 sizes. You can adapt the sweater to have more length by knitting extra rows of stockinette before beginning the seed stitch for the front and back pieces. The sweater is knit flat and seamed together.
Model is 5’4” and generally wears a size small w/ a bust of 32”. The size worn in the photos is the size Small.
