I have a dear friend that moved up to Boston and I wanted to make her a warm and cozy hat. Bulky yarn is cozy and knits up fast. Thus you have the Stephanie hat. The cables twist up the body of the hat to converge at the crown which can be worn pointing or slouchy. This hat does knit up fast making it a perfect choice for gifts.
