One of the most beautiful garter stitch designs on Ravelry is Color Affection by Veera Valimaki. I have admired it for a long while, and I wanted to make a crocheted wrap inspired by Veera's design. So, here is Stephanie's Wrap.
The wrap incorporates a lot of striping and short rows. It is 82 inches in length (208cm) by 16 inches at the widest point (40.6cm) after blocking. The stitch used throughout the design is the US single crochet.
I used Madelinetosh Tosh Lace to make Stephanie's Wrap, and each hank has 950 yds (868m). Three colors were used, and I have done my best to estimate the yardage needed for each color. MC (800 yds), CC1 (500 yds), CC2 (600 yds)
