The Stepping Out Coverup started as a completely different idea over 5 years ago that never made it beyond a swatch in the flat and in the round.
When I had the chance to work with Furls Crochet Whims Merino, I knew it was the perfect yarn for this lacy pattern. Although it’s a long piece, you will be surprised by how quickly you can make this coverup to wear over a tank, jeans and heels, or your next trip to the beach or pool.
The pattern includes a schematic and stitch diagrams to help even an eager beginner since this is made in one piece using only chain, single crochet and double crochet.
SKILL LEVEL Intermediate
Any yarns with natural fibers, except for cotton will stretch over time. If you prefer a shorter coverup, it is best to shorten the front and back.
