No one enjoys a hat more than my son-in-law. Rain or shine, sun or snow, Stevie is never without something to cover his “chrome dome.” He’s a happy fellow with a smile and a conversation for everyone. I knit him hats every year for gifts, but keeping up with clever but classic hat ideas for him sometimes has me wishing for simple lines and easy knitting.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I’ve included two versions of the pattern: Ribbed Crown and Stockinette Crown so knitters can choose their preference. The brim is the same on both patterns, just the body and the crown of the hats are different. This is a checklist pattern, each round is written out for so you can keep track of the rounds of your pattern.
