This is a simple coaster crochet pattern. The pattern contains written instructions as well as a crochet chart. This pattern is written in UK and US terms. Just download whichever version you prefer.
It uses 100% cotton DK yarn and a 4mm hook. I used Paintbox cotton in the colour Marine Blue. 1 50g ball will make a set of 5 coasters and still have some left.
It is a versatile pattern and could use this pattern to make a heart applique for decorating a blanket, for making bunting or even sticking in a photo frame as a Valentine's Day gift for a loved one.
