STOKEY Shawl

STOKEY Shawl is knitted flat beginning from one corner to the opposite side. Due to the asymmetric shape, one end of the shawl is longer than the other. The pattern is made with two stitch patterns, Irish Moss Stitch and Stockinette Stitch. The edges are rolling up slightly in the section with the Stockinette Stitch. The shawl can be made as a unicolor, two or three color version. The texture and/or the color change runs diagonally through the shawl and gives it an interesting and modern look.

Following basic knitting techniques are needed: Long Tail Cast On / Knitting and purling stitches / Working a Yarn Over
