A crescent-shaped shawlette with a ridged body and delicate shell border made with elongated stitches that are fun to knit. The shawl is worked top-down, so the size is easily adjusted by adding more rows to the body or border. Written instructions are used; details are provided for making a practice swatch with the shell stitch. Skill level: Intermediate to advanced.
