Sugar Wafer Mohair Pullover Sweater

My husband just loves sugar wafers! This design is a replica to those light, delicious cookies.

I had seen a manufatured similar design while out shopping and thought it woudl be cute to knit up by hand. Therefore, I designed this pattern. It is knit from the bottom up with a split hem then joined to work in the round. I used a modified drop shoulder finished with a tapered top for a flattering fit. This technique eliminated the need for short rows across thte back neckline. The eye-catching collar softly folds over and is split at one shoulder adorned by coordinating butons.
