I designed this bag with the Hoooked ribbon xl yarn, it has less stretch than a traditional t shirt yarn so its easier to control tension, perfect if you're not used to working with t shirt yarn. You could use any chunky yarn though, t shirt, ribbon or cord would be perfect for this bag, the heavier weight yarns help the bag keep its unique shape. Tension isn't too important for this pattern, just try and be consistent throughout. I hope you enjoy the pattern for this fun and quick to make summer bag
