Summer Snowdrop Dress

The Summer Snowdrop Dress is a classy and elegant dress for girls from 6 to 12 years old. The design features a lacy close-fitting bodice in a stretchy lacy pattern and flared skirt adorned with a pleated border. The waistband eyelet stitch pattern reminds delicate snowdrop flowers. It can be knit in a contrasting colour to show off its beauty. The eyelet trims around the armholes, neckline and bottom can be done in a contrast colour as well (the instructions are provided). The eyelets can be threaded with a ribbon or an I-cord belt for a finished look. Designed to be worked seamlessly in the round starting at waistline; first, a skirt is worked down to the hem, then the bodice is worked up from the cast on live stitches to the underarm. The back and front are worked separately up to shoulder seams.
