Knitting Pattern for a very cute matching Sun Hat and Cardigan in double knitting lightweight yarn. Pattern is for ages 0 - 7 years. The cardigan can be knitted with either short or long sleeves and has a knitted contrast flower and knitted buttons. The hat is light and perfect for warm weather. Full instructions are given for knitting the lace panels.
Yarns suggested: James C. Cotton On DK(50% cotton - 50% acrylic), Sirdar Cotton DK, Patons 100% Cotton, Stylecraft Classique Cotton DK or any other yarn that gives the same weight and gauge as below:
Yarn weight: DK / 8 ply (11 wpi) Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Needles Required US 3 - 3.25 mm US 5 - 3.75 mm US 6 - 4.0 mm
