This is a lace and mock cable pattern with a structure that incorporates a rib element. This means that each of the two stated sizes will fit upt to the larger size stated for each. The larger size is achieved by using 4mm needles instead of 3.25 needles with the same number of stitches. Made in a cotton or cotton mix yarn, this pattern requires 4 (5) x 100gm balls or equivalent, with a little extra allowance to allow for differing guage.
