This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.
Please note: current PDF has chart only but has general directions on how to do mosaic crochet as well as the color changes.
Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I normally use yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”. This comes out to approximately 4 oz of yarn, total.
