One ball of each is more than enough to make this scarf. Bernat Handicrafter thread is hard to find now. Artiste thread (found at Hobby Lobby) is a very similar thread that is a great substitute. Picture in tan/silver with black border is the Artiste thread
Can be made in a lace or fingering yarn using the correct hook for the yarn- something with a nice drape but it will get big fast in a heavier weight. Shorten by leaving out repeat rows but still work end rows for shaping.
