Knitting pattern no. 48 by Pizpaw Patterns. Sun Dress with Bobble Hem to fit a 3-6 and 6-12 month old baby.
The instructions are for 2 sizes.
The Sun Dress has an easy to knit pattern. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together. The bobble hem edging is knitted separately and sewn on.
The pattern uses double-knitting wool. An alternative would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply for international knitters.
You will also need sizes 3.25 mm and 4 mm (US size 3 and 6) straight needles and 4 buttons.
The picture shows the 3-6 month old size knitted using Wendy Supreme Cotton Silk DK in shade 1507 (Spice). You will need 2 (3) x 100 gram balls.
