Sun Spots is a gorgeous, elegant, and very girly design. It is worked with fingering weight yarn to a sport gauge. This design is ideal for wool or cotton, thus making it a beautiful layering piece for all year round wear. Sun Spots is worked as a modified top down raglan, features gorgeous Sun Spots lace and some simple (or not so) cables. The design allows you to use any cable stitch you like. The garment‘s length is very easy to customize – make it as a bolero or as a full length cardigan.
The cardigan has 2 options for the skirt portion, Full and Slim. Slim version is recommended for very slim kids (shown in red color). Full version is recommended if you desire a looser fit and more gathered look (shown in peach color).
