Previously published in the April 2016 issue of I Like Knitting magazine, the pattern is now available as a LoveKnitting download and has been updated to include instructions for both DK and worsted weight yarn as well as 2 options for hem styles.
This pattern is worked in the round from the hem up. The length of the skirt is easily customizable and the skirt can be tried on as you knit it. Please note that lengthening the skirt will affect the amount of yarn required to complete the project.
The skirt starts with either a picot cast on or garter stitch hem. Instructions for both variations are provided.
Choose the circumference that measures 0-6 inches less than the wearer’s hip measurement, depending on desired fit. Elastic is used to ensure the waistband is adaptable to multiple waist measurements.
