This is a beginner friendly rug/mat pattern using simple stitches for a chic minimalist design. Using jute makes it an environmentally friendly piece that can be used indoors or outdoors . The pretty fringed border adds just the perfect amount of personality.

Pattern is one size but includes instructions on how to make a larger size.
Gauge: Make the following half circle. Diameter should measure 3" Row 1: Begin with a magic circle. Hdc 4 sts into the circle. (4 sts.) Row 2: Ch 1, turn. 2Hdc in each st. (8 sts.) Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Hdc in the first st, 2hdc in the next. Hdc, 2hdc. Repeat from * to * around the row. (12 sts.)
