This beanie is a simple design and classic look. Knitted in the round, bottom up, it is seamless & it is suitable for beginner onwards and is a quick knit.
12 ply yarn, two strands held together. 148 Meters total adult size 115m for child 102m for toddler size
I used Bendigo Woolen Mills 12 ply classic, 1 ball (200 grams) is enough to make 1 adult & 1 toddler size beanie.
You could use any chunky/bulky yarn that asks for 8mm needles.
8mm, 16” circular knitting needles 8mm double pointed needles (to decrease for the crown)
