Svend is a male/unisex sweater.
Svend is a sweater/pullover knitted from the bottom edge and up with a 2-color all over pattern. The sweater has long set in sleeves and traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (2-color stranded knitting) i.e. a yardage of approximately 90 meters per 50 grams.
The pattern includes directions for a size S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL with a chest width of 110, 117, 126, 132, 141 and 148 centimeters and a length of 65, 68, 70, 72, 75 and 77 centimeters. Size small pictured in yarn from Sandnes.
The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to follow charts as well as written instructions, make increases and decreases, pick up stitches and work in 2-color stranded knitting in the round as well as back and forth. (Directions is a combination of charts and written text).
