Sweet Little Mittens

I started out making these stylish little mittens to sell in my store. I then got more into selling patterns and this is the first one that I had for sale in my personal pattern line, so it is a favorite ;). The name is "Sweet Little Mittens" with the emphasis on the "Sweet" as in cool or awesome. I've made these for my own baby and given them away as gifts to tons of friends at their baby showers. They are so quick to make, and make an impressive gift attached together with a bit of ribbon and a care tag. They also make a fabulous charity project...whip some up by your self or with a group to donate to a homeless shelter, orphanage, or care center for infants in crisis.

These are thumbless baby mittens with a chic oversized crocheted "button" for embellishment. The ribbed cuff is extra long to help keep the mittens on.
