Produktdetails
I wanted to make a scarf with a zigzag edge and lots of texture, based on the triangular vortex shawls I had seen online - but no-one had made a narrow scarf version, so I had to design my own.
A long narrow scarf (but wide enough to just cover your shoulders too), it will wrap around your neck twice and tie in a loose knot to secure. The simple textured pattern makes any yarn feel really plump, squishy - and warm.
Size
When lightly blocked, my scarf measured approx 68" on the long straight neck edge, 58" along the zigzag edge and 29" on the short cast off edge. The width at the widest point is approx 11".
Materials
Designed to be worked in double knit, and depending your the fibre content, you will need between 150g & 200g. The James Brett variegated yarn is a wool/acrylic blend and has 150g per ball and was more than enough. I have also used Debbie Bliss Rialto but needed 200g.
The pattern also has a second version with slightly more shaping, to sit closer to your neck.

- Notizen
- You don't have to use 2 sets of needles but the short straight needles are good for getting started, then switch to one long circular needle.
