The stranded colourwork in this sweater is based on an old Icelandic spell for bewitching a horse to fly. The original spell was a bit gruesome, but a reworking of the spell sigil makes for a mesmerizing yoke design. Perhaps you’ll feel a bit of air under your feet while wearing this sweater.
The sample was knit in Diamond Luxury Highlander (now discontinued). A substitute yarn is shown below.
