The Tasselated Cardigan has classic styling that you will be able to wear for years, and is a simple enough pattern for beginners. The pattern includes 9 sizes to fit busts up to 62"/ 155 cm, plus options for fit modifications.
The cardigan is worked side to side, starting with the cuff of one sleeve and finishing with the cuff of the other. It’s worked flat in stockinette stitch with just a bit of ribbing at the sleeve cuffs and hem, so this is a great project for traveling or watching TV. It requires minimal finishing. The sweater is fastened at the neck with just two buttons, which allows it to fall gently open. It’s a great layering piece to wear indoors or out. This shape also is very forgiving, making it flattering on many body shapes and sizes.
