Do you have a favorite book (or a bunch)? One you read over and over because it’s comforting, like visiting an old friend when you’ve had a bad day? Like the Tattered Covers Socks, Tattered Covers Cowl, and Tattered Covers Mitts, this hat was inspired by my small bookcase of old friends.
Two sizes with options for Beanie, Slouchy, and Super Slouchy are available, so you can make this hat for almost anyone. To make a smaller hat for a child, go down a needle size or use Fingering weight.
