The “Tausendschön Shawl” with its graceful color composition is knitted in one piece and from the bottom up in an interesting diagonal pattern. The german version of this pattern you also find on my designer page here on LoveCrafts.

Size: 206 cm length x 45 cm width with fringes
190 cm length x 45 cm width without fringes
Yarn: 525 g Jamieson´s of Shetland Spindrift (105 m/ 25 g) - 10 different colors (the consumption is indicated with and without fringes)
Skill level: advanced, for experienced stranded colorwork knitters
Techniques used: knit, purl, yarn over needle, knit 2 stitches together, stranded colorwork knitting with 2 colors at the same time, pick up stitches, single crochet stitch, tying fringes with a crochet hook
