The blanket requires 2 x 100 gram balls of both the main colour and the contrast.
It is worked in one piece, twisting the two yarns at each colour change to prevent holes from forming.
The border is basket weave stitch and the side panels are worked in the contrast colour.
The main section of the blanket has a stocking stitch background, with a bobble stitch for the body of the teddy bear. A combination of stocking stitch, reverse stocking stitch and basket weave are used for the teddy's nightwear and hot water bottle.
