Teddy & Me! “Love You”

For over a century Teddy Bears have captured our hearts. They’re loved by folks of all ages, but are a special favorite of children. The pattern includes matching pullover sweater & hat outfits for a child Size 2, 4 or 6 plus his or her own special teddy. 

Teddy’s outfit is designed for 16"-18" bears with a 13.5"-17" tummy circumference. This is a very popular size. Over the years I’ve purchased bears from numerous manufacturers, & even found many at thrift stores & yard sales.

The child & teddy sweaters feature a loving heart cable & your choice of crewneck or turtleneck collar. The hats can have a single or fold-up brim. Knit in a single color or add an optional accent trim. The detailed pattern includes both charts & written instructions, plus photos showing the completed garments.

I’ve knit the samples in easily available & rugged Red Heart Supersaver yarn, but any Worsted/Aran weight with a 16-17 stitch = 4" gauge can be used.

It’s the perfect way to say “Love You” to a special child.
