This romantic crescent shaped shawl is knit from the top down and is designed to be wide and shallow. Timeless and elegant, it has been designed to be knit with romance in mind; this is a grown up romance, deep, mysterious, rich and sensuous – think smokey eyeshadow, stiletto heels, Chanel No 5, cold champagne, the naughty twinkle in Michael Buble’s eyes, the glamour of Dita Von Teese, the voice of Richard Burton, the wiggle of Jessica Rabbit … see where I am going with this? We are talking sultry romance and sometimes we all need a little romance.

This pattern has both charted and written instructions and has been written for laceweight yarns and size 6/0 miyuki seed beads.

Finished sizes – Small 68” (172cm) wide, 20” (51cm) deep, Med 74” (186cm) wide, 21” (53cm) deep, Large 80” (203cm) wide, 22” (56cm) deep after thuggish blocking and all measurements on Silk/Royal Alpaca. This shawl can easily be made larger – instructions are within pattern notes.
