shawlette Surprisingly quick and easy to knit, all in garter stitch, this little shawlette is ideal to tuck into the neck of your coat – or to put around your shoulders whilst reading in bed! A simple lacy border is knitted first, then the main section is picked up along the edge of this, and short rows create the crescent shape.
MATERIALS 2 x 50g balls of Rowan Brushed Fleece Photographed in Dawn 269. 1 pair 6mm (no 4) (US 10) knitting needles
TENSION 12½ sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over g st using 6mm (US 10) needles. Edging is 6 cm (2¼ in) wide.
