Textured twist

Worn wide to keep your ears warm or narrow to hold your hair back, this headband has a 1940s style twist - literally! The twist at the front or side adds an extra feature or slide it to the back of your neck for a plain hairband on quieter days.

Worked in two strands of fingering weight yarn, this headband is an ideal stash buster and very quick and easy to knit. Keep it subtle with two different shades of the same colour or play with the wildest brightest multis in your stash!

You will need 75 yards each of two different colours of fingering weight yarn, 4mm (US 6) circular needle (16"/40cm cable length) and a darning needle, and that's all.
