The Aquarius Basket is number 2 from the Crocheted with Love Baskets Collection. This basket is highly textured by using the Half Treble Crochet, stitched closely together to resemble waves of the ocean. This basket can be made larger in the round, remembering to keep within the multiple stitch count. Bulky or super bulky weighted yarns work best for this pattern. The raised Half Treble Crochet gives the illusion of the 3D effect. Dependent on experience, this project can be completed within 1 day. This pattern is worked in the round and joined with Slip stitch, making it seamless. Instructions for inserting a hard padded bottom, which is optional, is included in this pattern. This pattern takes approximately: 220 yards. Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate. Finished basket should measure approximately 7” to 8” in diameter and 3.5 “ in height.
