Meet Santa & friends, easy-knit fun characters for hanging on the tree or around the house. Knit one basic shape then adapt it to create Santa, Robin, Rudolph & Snowman. Quick to knit using oddments of yarn.
The characters illustrated have been knitted in DK yarn on UK size 4mm (US size 6) single point needles & measure approximately 5 inches (13 cms) across.
Stitches & techniques required: Knit: Purl: increasing: knitting sts together: Knitting into front & back of sts, working short rows, stitching up.
The pattern is in PDF format, on 9 pages, with instructions given row by row.
Suggested yarns: Most DK yarns will be suitable for this project. I have used yarns from my stash, which includes Stylecraft Special DK, Hayfield Bonus DK & King Cole Dolly Mix (which comes in handy 25g balls). These ranges offer all the colours you will need to make The Christmas Crew.
