The Comeback Cardigan is a return to my first love in knitting: epic cables.
This thigh-length cardigan is worked from the top down in aran-weight wool. The cardigan features intricate cable panels running down the mid back and sleeves. Cabled pocket details accentuate the otherwise simple, reverse stockinette front.
Waist shaping gives a subtle hourglass curve while gentle A-line increases ensure the garment fits comfortably around the hips. The cardigan is finished with ribbed bands that frame the scooped neck and both fronts.
The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Both written and charted instructions are given for all cable patterns.
This size-inclusive cardigan is intended to be worn with approx. 5–10 cm / 2–4" of positive ease. The model wears size S with 5 cm / 2" of positive ease.
Gauge: 15 sts × 22.5 rows = 10 cm / 4" in reverse stockinette on larger needles, blocked
