When my cousin bought her first house this fall, and I saw the adorable 100-year-old farmhouse that she was getting ready to remodel I knew I needed to make something for her soon to be kitchen. With that thought in mind I dug in a bit and found out what her color scheme was going to be & took a look at my cotton yarn collection and found this great darker grey and navy that I knew would be a great contrast in the room. Next up was determining the stitch to use so…I dug into my handy dandy stitch dictionary and found the Griddle Stich which not only works up a super dense fabric perfect for the kitchen but also gives the striping a bit of an uneven edge which I really love!
