This pattern is a fun, spooky, Halloween inspired hat. Pattern uses stranded colorwork and is beginner friendly. Colorwork chart included in instructions for those who prefer to use it.
Skill Level is Advanced Beginner
Sizing included is Baby 0-18 mo, Child 3-10 years & Youth/Adult
Hat is knit in the round on circular needles. DPNs are optional to close.
You will need approx. 100-130g (60-80 yrds) of Super Bulky (#6) weight yarn
US Size 11/8mm, 16" Circular Needles OR US Size 13/9mm, 16" Circular Needles (depending on size)
Gauge for Child: 10 sts x 15 rows
Gauge for Baby & Adult: 11 sts x 14 rows
Knitters will need to have a basic understanding of stranded colorwork as well as reading charts/graphs.
Knitters should also have a basic understanding of how to pick up floats as you go.
