The Imperfect Summer Vest Top

A lightweight, floaty summer vest top with all the drape and all the space. 'Imperfect summer' is a simple patten for a practical wardrobe staple that you'll wear all summer. It's a 'beach to street' top that can be worn anywhere, thrown over a bikini or teamed with a cami for extra coverage.

This is a relatively simple top pattern, using mostly single crochet and slip stitches. It's worked in rows using simple decreases and working in the front and back loops. The top pictured uses Lindy Chain chainette yarn from We Crochet in bluebell and a 5.5mm hook.
