The pattern is written using US crochet stitch terminology. Here hook size 3.5mm (US E/4or UK 9) is used. The tension is 18 double crochet x 11 rows = 10 cm/4” in width and 10 cm/4” height. The hook size is only a guide. Change to a larger/ smaller hook size, if there are too many/ few stitches in 4″ or 10cm gauge.
