This simple beginner-friendly sweater dress for kids has a top-down yoke design. Once the collar ribbing is complete, we will begin expanding the yoke by crocheting in the round while increasing at the same time and adding a few rounds of colour stripes using a second colour of your choice. To make a clean edge, add one more round of sc to the bottom and sleeves to give it a finished look. No seaming is required for this pattern.
